Khalid Jamil claimed that his Aizawl side are not afraid of East Bengal, despite the Red and Gold brigade being the favourites tomorrow.

The former Mumbai FC coach said, “We respect them, but we certainly don't fear them. We will not play defensive football just because they are East Bengal. We will be playing our natural game. We're playing a great team but so are they."

Aizawl FC, meanwhile, strengthened their side with the signing of local lad Lalruatfela Zote. The Mizoram Premier League season 5 best midfielder will be in the squad tomorrow, provided the registration formalities are done in time. "Fela is a great player with real talent, but we still have the paper work left. If everything goes our way, there is a chance for him to face East Bengal," Khalid Jamil concluded.

Trevor Morgan's men go into the game as favourites despite drawing their last two matches against Shillong Lajong and Mohun Bagan.  Morgan, however, asserted that his team were up for the challenge. "We are here to take three points and we need to play like that."

Morgan was also full of praise for the Mizo side. "If Leicester City can win the Premier League, so can Aizawl FC. We are playing against one of the most decorated sides in the league. It will be a tough game, but, we will give our best."

"It will be a tough game, but I'm sure that we will give our all to win three points," he signed off.

The excitement surrounding the big match tomorrow has already spread among both the camps.
Mizoram born midfielder Lalrindika Ralte is excited to play his first I-League match on his home soil. “When we played Lajong in our last match, I was only one yellow card away from being suspended which made me uncomfortable throughout the 90 minutes because I wanted to captain my team at my home state. But, I will try my best tomorrow and hopefully, we will walk out with three points,” he said.
