Raju Gaikwad Survives Car Crash

Mohun Bagan defender Raju Gaikwad met with a car accident on Friday evening while driving on the Maa flyover in the southern fringes of Kolkata but managed to escape unhurt.

The reason behind the accident was the sudden braking of the car in front of Raju, according to the bystanders on the spot. Raju’s car also travelling at break-neck speed and hence could not control its momentum when the car in front braked suddenly.

The impact of the accident was so severe that the car was completely smashed but luckily Raju escaped unhurt. The left side of the car was completely smashed.

The car was driven by Raju himself and two other Bagan footballers were with him in the car. All three escaped without sustaining any major injuries.

Police arrived at the spot immediately and rescued the footballers and escorted them to their respective homes.

It’s safe to say that Raju Gaikwad dodged a real bullet.
