Aizawl FC coach Khalid Jamil is keen to deliver a Chapchar Kut gift to Mizo fans tomorrow as he targets a win against Mumbai FC when they lock horns at The Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Aizawl. Chapchar Kut is the biggest Mizo festival which is celebrated across Mizoram and among the Mizo communities around the world today.

Khalid Jamil's men, who have had an excellent start to this season, sit second in the I-League with seven wins from their 11 top-flight games so far and will hope to extend their impressive run of form against Mumbai who sits five places below them.

When Feverpitch correspondent asked Khalid his plan for the Mizo people for the Chapchar Kut festival, the coach replied, "We will give our 100% to win. We will only be happy with three points. We will try our best to deliver the best Chapchar Kut present for our fans. And I hope they like it."

"We have one of the best set of fans in the league, and I hope they will come out in great numbers to support us like in the other home matches. With them behind us we are always motivated," he went on to add.

The Kuwait-born coach, however, brushed aside title talks "We still have lots of games to play and things can change quickly, all we have to do is to focus on our next game."

Mumbai FC's former Aizawl FC defender, Lalchhawnkima said that he has no personal grudges against his old club and is looking forward to playing against them. "I hope Aizawl FC will do well in the future, but not against us. And as a professional footballer, I will give my 100% to win against them."

Mumbai FC might sit in a lowly ninth position in the table, but Coach Santosh Kashyap said their challenge for a top half finish is still a realistic one. "We will hope to turn things around this time. Aizawl is a nice place, nice weather, nice food and a beautiful stadium. My players will have no problem tomorrow. We are here for three points,” he said.

Aizawl FC will be without the services of reliable left back Lalruatthara who is out with an injury, while new signing Lalruatfela Zote might don the AFC jersey for the first time.
