Hyderabad Football Academy & Kerala Blasters Join Hands For Grassroots Talent Development

Hyderabad Football Academy and Kerala Blasters today announced their partnership for grassroots Football Talent Development in Hyderabad.  Founded in 2014 by young trio M.Atif Hyder ,Tejo Ananth Dasari, and Pavan Kumar Duvva Hyderabad Football Academy offers professional training to more than 300 aspiring grassroots footballers in 4 astro –turfs in the city as well as an International School.

 Kerala Blasters is an Indian professional football team based in Kochi, Kerala that competes in the Indian Super League. 

The grassroots development collaboration was announced in the presence of Nimmagadda Prasad Co-Owner Kerala Blasters , Varun Tripuraneni CEO, Kerala Blasters and Thangaboi Singto, Assistant Coach and Technical Director of Youth Development, Prashanth – Kerala Blasters FC and Rino Anto – Kerala Blasters FC and India Player. 

“We are very pleased and excited that Kerala Blasters have put faith in our grassroots development approach.” Mohammed Atif  Hyder, Founder & Director of HFA said after announcing the partnership. We aim at providing a platform for youngsters to come out and showcase their talent.  We are confident together with the guidance and support from Kerala Blasters we will achieve our goals beginning today.” 

Talking HFA goals young Tejo Ananth Dasari Director of HFA said our target is to enrol 1000 students in the near future, provide the best football training facilities in the city with modern-day methods of training by eminent coaches.  We encourage students to take up football at a very young age and this helps lay the foundation for their growth in the sport.

We have focused a lot on grassroot development establishing over 20 football schools across the state of Kerala with over 1,500 kids participating.

Atif and Ananth, founders of the HFA share a similar vision to develop Indian Football and that we believe is the key highlight to this partnership.Coaches from Kerala Blasters will visit Hyderabad Football Academy on a regular basis. This partnership will also give an opportunity for kids from Hyderabad football academy to train with the youth teams of Kerala Blasters thus giving them an opportunity to get selected to our youth teams. 

Speaking about Hyderabad Football Academy achievements Pavan Kumar Duvva, Director of HFA said we are proud to announce that our students have represented India in the Futsal World Cup 2016 for U-17 years in Paraguay. Our Students have also been selected to represent U-16 and U-18 I league clubs as well as been selected to travel to Germany for a football program modulated by Mainz FC Football Club.

It will be a great event as young talents will dribble the football with Kerala Blasters FC. To accomplish our goals the first step we have taken is to set up our academies in the best turf grounds in the city. We are also providing the students the best equipment and facilities to train in. We also devised scholarships based on student’s performance and achievements as they train in our academy to sustain talent growth. 

A few achievements of the students are -

Student of HFA has represented the FC GOA Premier Futsal League Team in recent times.

The Students have also had a foreign Coach, Ashley Hardy come down from Liverpool Hope University to take a one week clinic for the students. 

 The HFA Had four students selected to represent the Telangana Futsal Team 2016 which won the National Championship in Punjab. Two of these students we selected to represent India in the Futsal World cup Under 17 in Paraguay. 

The Hyderabad Football Academy now plans to introduce a school league in the city.

The HFA will invite schools from all over the city to participate in this 11 a side school league.

 The School league will provide a platform for students to play against different opposition and also give them an opportunity to come forward and showcase their talent.

The Best Players from this school league will be given a scholarship in the HFA and also sent for tryouts to the Kerala Blasters Youth teams. 

Going forward HFA aims to set up 10 professional football academies in the city to nurture the best football talents from the city and neighbouring regions.

The HFA also provides its coaches to an NGO that works with Government schools to provide the kids the best coaching possible.

They will be hosting multiple tournaments throughout the year for different age groups to help promote the culture of football in Hyderabad. 

Exhibition Match : As a kick off to the grassroots development program HFA and Kerala Blasters is organising an exhibition match between U-11 children and 2 Indian National Professional footballers from Kerala Blasters Rino Anto and Prashath today evening at the street drive in turf between 5-7 pm.
