East Bengal In Talks With Brazilian Striker To Replace Willis Plaza

Kingfisher East Bengal FC are in talks with Brazilian striker Rafael Ramazotti, has been plying his trade in the Singapore League for DPMM FC, as a replacement for Willis Plaza.

The 29-year-old has set the S-League ablaze since arriving from Japan’s J3 side Gainare Tottori in 2015. He scored 21 goals to inspire DPMM to their first and only S.League title that very year, before bagging another 20 the following season to retain the Golden Boot. 

He missed out on the Golden Boot in the 2017 season as he was sidelined for three months with an injury.  

Apart from the S-League, Rafael also has the experience of playing in Brazil’s Serie A, Japan’s J1 and Portugal’s Segunda Liga (second-division) leagues.
