CFL: Mohun Bagan Officials & Police Chalk Out Plans To Curb Inconvenience Of Supporters

Mohun Bagan Assistant General Secretary Srinjoy Bose and Mohun Bagan Finance Secretary Debashis Dutta met the Commissioner of Police, Rajiv Kumar and Additional Commissioner of Police, Supratim Sarkar at Lal Bazar, Police Headquarters today ​​​​​​in view of the appeal made by Mohun Bagan supporters and members regarding the inconvenience caused during the Calcutta Football League Premier Division games held at Mohun Bagan ground.

After the fruitful meeting, Rajiv Kumar immediately asked DC South Praveen Tripathi to inspect the Mohun Bagan Club Ground and have a detailed discussion with the Club Officials.

In the evening, Praveen Tripathi visited Mohun Bagan club ground and met Mr. Srinjoy Bose. After a thorough discussion, it was decided by Mr. Tripathi that the following measures will be implemented from next match onwards:

1. Three tickets will be given per person in the public gallery. Once the ticket holder enters the gallery, he will not be allowed to go out before the end of the match.

2. Non-members will not be allowed entry at Mohun Bagan Members Gallery. From next match onwards, the Members will have to produce their current membership card for 2017-18 season along with their ID Card at the gate to get entry inside the club.

3. Entry to both Members and Public Gallery will be strictly closed 5 minutes before the start of the match.

4. Arrangements are also being made to ensure that spectators get to see the match from the rampart side.

Mohun Bagan is extremely thankful to Shri Rajiv Kumar and the Kolkata Police for promptly taking action to ensure smooth and peaceful organisation of the match.
